'12 Baisakh - Post Earthquake Community Art Project', initiated by ArTree Nepal artist collective was conceived in response to 25th April, and 12th May 2015 massive earthquakes. Six months long art project was envisioned as a community-focused platform where artists and other professionals contribute towards the co-creation of artworks and initiatives in localities severely damaged by the quakes. The main aim of the initiative is to align artistic interests with social practice.

12 Baisakh is realized in collaborating with the residents of Thulo Byasi, Bhaktapur. ArTree had been involved in Thulo Byasi after three days from the first quake. 12 Baisakh evolved over two phases. Phase I focused on immediate relief, documentation, research and community support whereas, Phase II sees the development of longer-term artistic engagements, including a showcase of communal experiences through site specific works and research called Camp.Hub.Camp.Hub was envisioned a platform to transform communal spaces in affected communities with site-specific and interactive installations. 

The project  included over one hundred artists, researchers,artisans and community members ,displayed  in seventeen  different private and public venues in community.The Artistic Director of the project was Hit Man Gurung & Sheelasha 
Rajbhandari .
