In this iteration of KT2077 Kurakani, Aqui Thami and Shubha Kayastha will talk about the Decolonization of Feminist Praxis. This discussion is conducted primarily in English. KT2077 Kurakani | Conversations - is a virtual space where individuals from various fields like art, literature, theatre, and activism share each other’s works, discuss socio-politically relevant issues, and support a deeper understanding of the world. - About the speakers: Aqui Thami Aqui is an indigenous artist based in Bombay. Centred around the culture of DIY, self-publishing and guerrilla poster she believes in creating art that is grounded in the act of 'doing’ and addresses political/ social issues.The core of Aqui's art practice is healing as she works with experiences of marginalisation and resilience, her own and the people she works in collaboration with. Shubha Kayastha Shubha is a queer feminist. Her work revolves around the intersection of gender, sexuality and technology. She is co-founder of digital rights organisation Body & Data. - KT २०७७ कुराकानी - एउटा भर्चुअल मञ्च हो जहाँ कला, साहित्य, रङ्गमञ्च र सामाजिक अभियानका व्यक्तित्वहरू एकअर्कासँग आ-आफ्ना कला वा काम प्रस्तुत गर्नुका साथै समसामायिक राजनीति तथा सामाजिक मुद्दाहरूबारे छलफल गर्नुहुन्छ । यी कुराकानीले यो विश्वलाई गहिरिएर बुझ्न मद्दत गर्दछ । - KT २०७७ को यस कुराकानी श्रृंखलामा उपनिवेशवादबाट नारीवादी अभ्यासको उन्मुक्ति बारे कुराकानी गर्न आकी थामी र शुभ कायष्ठ उपस्थित हुनुहुनेछ । - वक्ताका बारेमा : आकी थामी हाल बम्बई बस्नुहुने आकी थामी एक आदिवासी कलाकार हुनुहुन्छ । रचनात्मक ढङ्गमा स्व-निर्माण, स्व-प्रकाशन, र गुरिल्ला पोस्टरका आसपास आफ्ना काम केन्द्रित गर्नुहुने उहाँ जनस्तरमा आधारित कार्य गर्ने र राजनीतिक तथा सामाजिक मुद्दाहरू सम्बोधन गर्ने कलाको निर्माणमा विश्वास गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले आफ्नो कला अभ्यासद्वारा आफैँले र आफ्ना सहकर्मीहरूले भोगेका सीमान्तीकरण तथा सहनशीलतासम्बन्धि अनुभवका घाउलाई सन्चो पार्ने प्रयास गर्नुहुन्छ । शुभ कायष्ठ शुभ एक क्वियर फेमिनिस्ट हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँका काम लैङ्गिकता, यौनिकता तथा प्रविधिको परस्पर सम्बन्धमा केन्द्रित हुन्छन् । उहाँ डिजिटल अधिकारसम्बन्धि काम गर्ने संस्था बडी एण्ड डाटाको सहसंस्थापक हुनुहुन्छ।
